ENHANCEMENT OF HEAT TRANSFER IN DOUBLE PIPE HEAT EXCHANGER USING AL2O3-FE2O3/WATER HYBRID NANOFLUID

This study aims to enhancement of heat transfer in double pipe exchanger by improving the thermal properties base fluid which is water adding AL2O3-Fe2O3 nanoparticles water. Al2O3-Fe2O3/water hybrid Nanofluid were examined experimentally and numerically at different flow rates ranging between (3 -7) Lpm temperature 25°C an external tube while there was a hot 60°C rate ranged – 5) running central counter exchanger. Also, effect various concentrations (0.05, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2, 0.25 0.3%) Al2O3-Fe2O3 dispersed on transfer, friction coefficient verified . The ratio 0.5:0.5. experimental numerical indicated that with increases when concentration suspended , but other hand, skin pressure drop as well increasing nanoparticles. maximum for about 6 % results from largely consistent results.
